A collaborative workshop hosted by Taproots Farm Hub to bring together producers in the Treasure Valley.
Special guest Katherine Myrvold, Education Manager at Viva Farms in Washington State, will give a presentation about their well-established Incubator Program.
A local innovators panel will be moderated by Wilder Jones of Kings Crown Organic Farm with panelists David Anderson (American Farmland Trust), Britt Udesen (City of Good), Brad McIntyre (McIntyre Family Farms), and Casey O'Leary (Taproots Farm Hub).
Lunch from Roots of Mexico will be served while we converse about what is possible in the Treasure Valley!
This workshop will cover access to organic farmland for producers from a farm incubator perspective and will include information about certifying organic.

This workshop will feature a panel discussion on opportunities and barriers for accessing certified organic farmland in the Treasure Valley. Presenters will include producers, technical assistance providers, and landowners. Information on organic certification will be discussed during this panel.
