Land Wish List

Taproots Farm Hub is looking for a home to grow our roots. We are seeking land with a few requirements. Below is our “wish list”. If you have any leads, please let us know.

Must-haves:

• • • • 40-200 acres

      • As close as possible to Boise

      • Reliable water (ideally groundwater and surface irrigation, but potential for a supplemental groundwater right is a must if it just has surface water)

      • Potential for 30-year lease, lease-to-own, or eventual ownership.

        • The land does not have to be owned by Taproots in the future.

        • Land could be owned by land trust or another public entity.

Extras and pluses:

• Collaborative partners who care about the future of agriculture in Idaho

• Buildings with areas for office and/or classrooms

• Equipment storage

• Available housing

• Wash/pack station

• Bathrooms

• Parking area

• Kitchen for value-added production

• Walk-in cooler(s)
